Came from a long vacation overseas and brought back a bad cold and cough...Just showing my "face" so to speak to let you know I haven't died. It's been awhile since I've updated. The quality of recording I know isn't the greatest, but it is from my back catalog of analog cassette recording (you know, prehistoric era-smile). Anyways, I hope you enjoys it :)

This one came from my rocker chick daze. It was the wildest adventure tying to get this song converted and uploaded! I hope it was worth it. ei: I hope you like it! It seems the taste on the site is alittle bit hard rock. This is hard core man! =) It's a little long and the lead is a bit repetative, I am no longer with this band nor will I re-record it, so here it is, as is....the only other really worthy backup song on reserve in my recorded music library.....the moment we've all been waiting for lol!!!!!!!!!!

ok..... I play ALL the Instruments... Two Guitars, and Bass Guitar.. The guitars are Both Dirty.. one more than the other... with some Wah and a bit of phaser on the one.... JBP spruced up the guitar files I sent him, and then I applied his techniques to the vocals as well... altogether making the song much more accessible and listenable... read his posts on compression, normalizing, etc.!

Remember the kursk submarine? If not maybe google it! This is one of those songs that wrote itself.One minute the page was empty and the next it contained my exact emotion/state of mind. I guess its trashy punky but the form of the music represents how appaled I was at the time the sub sank. I was workin one of those dead end jobs,forced to listen to local radio who gave a kind of morbid countdown of how much air the sailors had left. The next day i got into work and the countdown was at 2 hours left. I was mainly angry at the fact that Putin refused international help to raise the sub. He was freshly elected to office and it would probably have looked bad on the old resume to have a nuke sub rescued by another country. So let them choke i guess was the plan. Anyway, grumpy i was, and grumpy was the song! Its an old tune re-recorded and kinda cleaned up but we werent too enthusiastic about it so it didnt get too much attention in the mixdown. Had this set of chords that I keep toying with in FL studio but never put into a song, so tonight I had some free time and finally did it. Although its a chill kinda song, to appreciate all the instruments (there are 12 used at various points I think, excluding drums) you need a bit of volume in your headset. Its a shade under five minutes long, but just sit back, close your eyes, and let the music surround you. It takes me somewhere different everytime I listen to it, so hopefully it'll do something for you too. There are a few minor problems I'm aware of but I won't point them out here. Also, I'm aware it is simple, but I thought it was better that way...I tried adding a variety of different chord combinations after the pause in the middle but nothing I used fit...feel free to remix it if you have any better ideas. Well, here is my first post! The recording is not great and the singing even worse, but I'm working on the recording and trying to sing better :) Anyway, I play all the instruments and recorded them through a tascam dp.
