Asian Beach

It took me two hours to make this song. It feels to me that it has a bit of asian in it, but also the feel of being at the beach. Thus the name of the song.

This song would be the 18th and the latest song I've created. I'm not really going in order of uploading my songs.

Utopia

This is the first song I ever had recorded. It was on a CD called Conduct Becoming which rasied money for Cancer research. It was a project run at Mount Allison University in New Brunswick, Canada and is also a National project. The vocals are a little weak. Wrote it when I was quite a bit yonger. Maybe 6 years ago now. I've matured alot musicially but I still dig the song.

Natural Fallout - Demo

Demo of my project, this song is being recorded in a studio with my band and will be publishing the album hopefully soon. Purely instrumental the singer didn't record in the demo, the guitar solo is missing also. This demo everything except the keyboard is sequenced.

Genre: Fusion/Progressive/Metal

Enjoy...

The Silvery Tides...

Couldn't fit the full title, it is called: The Silvery Tides of Donny Smeak.

It's just a short little number that I'm not sure what to think of. Its dirived from a trippy poem I wrote and then I just came up with some guitar and bass and drums for it and recorded it while the inspiration was fresh. Also just to give you the heads up, The vocals a mixed a tad low. I tried to fix it but I recorded the Vocals and Guitar at the same time so it was kinda tough. Just bear with it if you can. Anyway Give her a listen and let me know what you think.

Justice

Here's another tune from me, hope you like it...at least a bit :-) The lyrics may - as always - be a bit confusing as I'm no native english speaking person but I think you'll get an idea. At last it was never wrong to inspire people to think on theirselves. Enjoy!

Merry Christmas ;-)

The Dark

I'm still addicted to that buzzy bass sound. I've used it far too much!
Lyrics to come, eventually.
Starts off sorta dark, but gets a bit nicer.
Got a myspace music account, so I can have my own songs playing in the background of my myspace profile.
I did boycott myspace for a while, because its full of scene whores, but its cheaper than a phone, and the blogs actually works properly ;)

Flying Metal Bunny Can

So far its just one guitar track with some vocals. I know it needs some drums and other guitar parts but just hopping along with it.

Gonna sling some metal(2x)
The one with nook in the hook.
Before we can even speak.
Theres a beak.
Aiming for you and me.
I know its upsired but here come the birds.

Swung at it's head but got my friend's hand.
So instead we go for the blue bunny.
We're gonna go shank the blue bunny(2x)

Until I find, my soda pop can(2x)

Dont make much sense.
Your probably trying to understand.
But hey! Come on man.
It's just a strange dream that I had!

We're gonna go shank the blue bunny(3x)

He knew where just to stab.
No blood flow, although,
should of known.
The carpet is staining.

So lets go shank the blue bunny.
Lets all go shank the blue bunny (everybody)
We're gonna go shank the blue bunny(2x)

Until I find, my soda pop can(2x)

Remains (acoustic)

Some time has passed
But I can still feel you
I can't seem to
Move on with my own life
I don't get it
Something just isn't right
The timing wasn't correct
Nothing ever goes right for me

I thought they were wrong
I ignored it all
But lies turned out to be fact
The truth you never told
What happens next

Your sent
Your taste
Your lies
All remain with me

You made me feel
Like the strongest of men
You had me fooled
I guess the jokes on me again
You seemed so kind
Looks so divine
But I was blinded
By your beauty and charm

I wanted to keep you
I thought you were mine
My dreams were all shot down
I still hear your voice
Why did you leave

Your sent
Your taste
Your lies
All remain with me

She is everything to me
I wish I could tell her the way i feel
But when I speak
The words refuse to come out of my mouth

You go about your days
Happy as can be
What just happened
It's like i didn't even exist
Your joy is my pain
I don't need you here
You spirit still remains
In my dreams your there

I was faithful while you were not
My nightmare came true
I can't believe I ever said
I love you

Noodling in C

Improvising a bit in C blues. I start with a theme and try somewhat to stick to a standard 12 bar blues structure.

Not really a song. I was seeing how recording my old 40 year old wurlitzer would sound. Unfortunatley, I didn't have a long enough cable to extend my good condenser mic, and instead used a very cheap standard mic. So it sounds terrible. Also, I learned that 40 years has quite an effect on tuning. It didn't sound bad to my ear until I recorded it. Oh well.

They aren't in the song, but they fit with the synth part if anyone wants to sing to this.

Hope you enjoy it

P.S I had another version with guitars instead of piano and a flute (I think) instead of the synth. If you want to hear that one, I can post it if you wish, I just liked the ring of the piano here.

F. F. revised

This is one of our revised versions of the original Friends Forever. This is my friend and his older brother singing and playing. I\'m not sure what the program they put it together on was. My friend isn\'t a drummer but he got a lot of good stuff in there by generating it in the program. tell me what you guys think about this one.

This is a melodic electronic track with a message left on my voice mail from my girlfriend. Plus a little real talk from Mos Def.

All Little Things_re-rec

Re-recording of All the Little Things
http://forum.bandamp.com/Audio_Review/7680.html

As suggested I changed the drums and I'm quite happy with em :D.
This is pre-vocals, rough guide of a mix done on headphones.
A lot of popping/crackling due to a lead of some sort I think :(, may re-record guitar parts when I can but I'm pretty happy with the takes :O).

I tried to add a bit to the song by a variant second guitar and some 'lead' to make it more interesting, as the basis of the song is essentially two chords. I worked slightly more on the dynamics here to build the song up as it goes. Hopefully vocals will add a lot to this song :).

I Like Fruit V2

This is the version with spoon. I like the vocals better on this one but the drums and bass are pretty sloppy, oh well, just thought you might like to hear it!?

Vesna

"Vesna", in Russian, means "spring" (as in fall, winter, etc.). Could be done better could be done worse. "It is what it is" as Idries Shah would have said. Listen to the music (especially the guitar solo) and make up your own words just keep in mind it's a love song.

Snowboard Kids: Hidden Track V2.0
Changed the name to be more original.
I thought I should upload it before I go on holidays.
It's a more complete version of my last song.
Enjoy!
