BluesMan

What to say about this song... it's a song I wrote long time ago. It's a song about blues and how gr8 blues is and when I listen blues I don't need anything else 'cause it feels so good. It's blues-rock song, I hope u'll like it. And this is first time u'll hear me singing. Not really the best I can show, this song was recorded when I was 17, that was 3 years ago. Expect next month something brand new. :)

My Turn

Please Note: This track starts pretty quiet so you may have to turn your speakers up a bit ... sorry!

Please give me honest feedback - I'm relatively thick skinned and I REALLY wanna improve my playing, singing, writing, etc. etc. The recording isn't great. I played / sang all the parts myself (the drums are my V-Drums) and kinda made up the arrangement as I went along! Still, it's the song that counts ...

If you've taken the time to listen to this then please rate it and leave comments. Thanks.

Hope you'll enjoy though it's not exactly commercial.

I've not been making music for very long, only like a few weeks or something, and my equiptment is absolute crap. I've recorded 4 songs, this is my most recent one. Umm...I don't really know what to say really, the song kinda says it all (if you can actually get what the lyrics are...stupid damn microphone)
Please don't critasise to harshly, I am very ammateur! (is that even how you spell that word...?)

Cold C

Melodic guitar lines and a powerful voice are the highlights of this song in my opinion. I hope you guys like it!

Cheers
Craig

HERE ARE THE LYRICS

Cold c.

I push you in when it’s too much – I’m sorry

I never thought that I’m the one to blame

You heard my words but you left in – a hurry

All I can recall is your name

Watch my life get bitter - as we all do

See your own reflection – change perspective

I watched a piece of me perish when I loved you

That’s just because you never knew (2*)

No matter if I’m aching - you don’t see

I run in circles after you

It’s not the bone that is breaking – dear cold c.

I always lie but you know this is true

Watch my life get bitter - as we all do

See your own reflection – change perspective

I watched a piece of me perish when I loved you

That’s just because you never knew (2*)

Call me names and define me new, I would adopt each thought, rewrite myself to be closer, closer to the queen of pain, but just like all that is divine, you’re not able to see your crown and the inner force, and that’s what kills me, it kills me

I watched a piece of me perish when I loved you

That’s just because you never knew (2*)

Your last breath

This song is about watching someone you care so much about slip slowly away and all your thoughts and feelings.

I wrote this song when I was 15 and I found it hard to express how I felt. I'd only just started playing guitar so the chord sequence is quite basic, but over the last 4 years it's gone through various revisions and includes a beautiful piano accompniment by my friend Matthew Gidman.

Let me bleed

.: Let me bleed :. (Dejame sangrar)

I do not know it and I will never know
why must we live all this disease?
we always go one step back

You know, is difficult for me
because I am not a normal boy
I never wanted to fit

I never found a place where happy I could lay down
and not to think about anything… It´s the end!

It´s the end, baby, this is over
I must find a damn bar where I can get drunk

Kill me, come on, baby, kill me
stabb at once that sharpened dagger and let me bleed

I never found a place where happy I could lay down
and not to think about anything… Only about you

Only about you

Traveler

I think this song has great potential. It was pretty much my test song - the first one that i did using sonar 3 (or any multitrack recording program for that matter). I spent a lot of time getting it to where it is, but it still isn't finished. the vocal track only completes one verse. lead guitar is a tad too loud. I used too much distortion in those days anyway. The drums on this one are also loops because, again, no drummer. still, I had a blast recording and producing this song.

huenyo sueno

well, the guitar part of this piece i wrote to accompaign a monks tale in a play. then we chose it to be on "urubamba" but i had no idea, what to sing. until my mates said: just tell a story... so i just let flow, imaging being an old man, sitting on the bench of a carriage tracked by an old, lame horse, maybe telling a story to my grandson next to me, but merely talking to myself... in the distance of the steppe a solitary flute reminds me of my home..
palosanto is:
volker kacziski on flute&sax&recordingtools

daniel brück on tabla&darabuka&perc.&git.

staffan gettys on singing saw (not on this track; check out:"spieluhr")

waskhar schneider on voice&didge&kalimba&...&git on this track
thanx to all for critics, rating, and most of all LISTENING!!!

The Storm

This song was originally written about the Canberra bushfires that happened in January 2003 near my house. We used to play this one in the band that I was in but the arrangement was much different. This is a new arrangement that I have done.

Credits:
Lyrics: Nathan Gay
Original Chord Lines: Vince Stoffels
Music, this version: Stefan Foudoulis (Me), Vince Stoffels
Performed By: Stefan Foudoulis (all instruments + vocals)

Enjoy! :)
